How do I configure my Kolet eSIM?

Updated

The first thing you need to do is confirm that your device is eSIM compatible.

You have three ways to check:

  • Access the Kolet App. If you see the error screen, then your device is unfortunately not eSIM compatible.

  • Search for your device here to see if it’s eSIM compatible.

  • Check manually in your device settings:

OPEN the Settings

TAP Cellular or Mobile Data

CHECK if there is an Add eSIM or Add Cellular Data

  • You should also check that your device is not locked by your carrier. Most devices that are carrier-locked are usually the ones that are purchased directly from a mobile operator, and the mobile operator has a locking policy for the device (because of the lease that is associated with it).

How to install your Kolet eSIM:

  1. After downloading your Kolet eSIm, you will have 1 GB for free, valid for 48 hours.

  2. Upon login, click on the eSIM banner where you’ll be directed and asked to create an account.

  3. Your name and email should automatically be completed.

  4. Read and confirm that you accept the terms & conditions and privacy policy.

  5. Download the Kolet App from the link sent to your email.

  6. Once you’ve downloaded the App, you’ll be asked to enter a one-time password sent to your email.

  7. Once logged in, you’ll be able to view your free 1GB plan and be prompted to install the eSIM.

You will need to install your Kolet eSIM only once. You may do so before departure or when you arrive at your destination.

Not sure how to activate your data plan? Check here.

Important! If on the Kolet App, the eSIM status is gray 🔘, then it means that your eSIM wasn’t correctly installed.

How do I top up my data plan?

  2. From the home menu, select + Add more data.

  3. Choose the destination.

  4. Select the desired plan. Each plan is valid for 30 days and can be topped up at any time.
